  2. 2. Ss create the corner of fairy tales in the classroom. They bring pictures with heroes, settings, events, odd sentences which create surprise, villains. They put the pictures in separate bags. They work in groups. Each group chooses one picture from each category and they write a fairy tale. (Throughout the project they enrich the corner with books, drawings, mind maps, useful expressions).

  1. 9. Rolling story
Pull desks into a circle. Each pair of students gets a blank sheet of paper and pencil. They put their name on the back of their paper. Students start to write a story about any topic. Teacher uses a timer and at the end of a short period (around a minute or less but use your judgment depending on your students) time is called. Papers are quickly passed to the right, time is restarted and students continue story started by the first student. Continue until paper ends up with the original author. There will be many giggles and excitement as students try to read/write quickly. Have students read finished product aloud. For younger students, substitute writing with drawing a picture.

Notes:
-The students will work either in pairs or groups. The teacher will keep a journal.
-After each activity there will be self-assessments and assessments of the activities.
-With the end products the students will create videos or ppts with narrations.
-Focus on form (use of past tenses, useful vocabulary): At the end of each task, the students will deal with exercises from the book to practice forms.
-The end products will be printed and distributed to all children at the end of the school year.
-The children will discuss ways to disseminate the end products (drama, small videos)
